Payroll laws and regulations are constantly changing and evolving making the payroll process more and more complicated. At Fronteer Professional Services, we pride ourselves in being experts in our fields and we are passionate about the work we do. We manage the entire payroll process for you, not just some of it. Fronteer Professional Services is a registered Professional Employer Organization (PEO). As a PEO we are responsible for providing comprehensive payroll, benefits, and HR services to our clients while ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws. As the client, you still maintain the employer relationship with your worksite employees.
As the PEO and your payroll partner we perform the following tasks relating to payroll administration:
- Perform all new hire reporting to the state and E-Verify all new hires with the US Department of Homeland Security
- Enter, calculate, and process all payroll checks and direct deposits
- Deposit all federal and state tax liabilities
- Prepare and file Forms 941 and 940
- Prepare and file all state withholding and unemployment forms
- Prepare and file all Form W-2s
- Provide client with detailed payroll reports each payroll period
- Prepare and calculate certified payroll reports
- Process garnishments for child support, etc.
- Complete and return all employment and wage verifications
- Respond to all employee inquiries
- Electronically store all employee files
Having a time and attendance solution is advisable to ensure employees are paid accurately. In addition, employers are mandated by law to track and maintain detailed records pertaining to the hours that each employee works. Fronteer Professional Services partners with a leading time and attendance software solution which allows for automatic time tracking for both on-site and remote employees. In addition to time tracking, PTO can be managed. Employees are allowed to submit time off in real time and have those requests reviewed and approved by a manager. Employees can flexibly access this time clock by using an intelligent physical clock, computer, or any mobile device.
Bookkeeping
Our bookkeeping services include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all accounts receivable functions
- Managing all accounts payable functions

QuickBooks is the ideal solution for most small to mid-size businesses. Our staff is knowledgeable in both QuickBooks Desktop as well as QuickBooks Online. In fact, Fronteer Professional Services has a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor on staff. If using QuickBooks Desktop, Fronteer Professional Services offers access to our terminal server so you can continue to gain access to your QuickBooks file while we manage your day-to-day transactions.
Whether you are a new or continuing business, our QuickBooks ProAdvisors can consult on questions and issues relating to the use of QuickBooks. For those who are new to QuickBooks, we can provide initial training and setup to ensure your software is configured correctly. We remain your partner and trusted advisor answering questions as they arise. For those seasoned QuickBooks users, we can provide ongoing training to ensure your QuickBooks is being used to its full potential.

Employee Benefits Administration
We take the complexity out of offering benefits. When you partner with Fronteer Professional Services, we act as the plan administrator. We offer or will help you obtain the competitively priced benefits your employees desire. Most of these are tax advantaged plans being offered through a Section 125 cafeteria plan. This allows your employee to save money on taxes.
